Product Overview
Functioning as a primary mover for heavy-duty facility water management, the Lowara NSCS40-160/55 excels in high-volume transfer applications. Its rugged structural footprint ensures that massive fluid loads are transported without encountering operational downtime.
Generating significant throughput, this unit achieves a maximum head of approximately 34.7 m and processes a maximum flow of approximately 930 L/Min. Electrical power is reliably supplied via a 5.5 kW / 415v three-phase motor, paired with 65 mm and 40 mm plumbing connections.
The advanced centrifugal volute controls extreme hydraulic pressure with excellent efficiency. By optimizing the rotational geometry of the fluid, it effectively eliminates destructive recirculation zones, sustaining long-term mechanical reliability during continuous use.
Secured by a heavy-duty stub shaft motor adapter, the framework utilizes a rugged Cast Iron structural body paired with a Fabricated Stainless Steel (AISI 316) impeller. Fully protected by IP55 motor sealing, the pump is rated to easily process liquids up to +120 °C.

How does this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump connect electrically regarding supply voltage current feed and motor kilowatt power?
Operated from dedicated power supplies, the NSCS40-160/55 relies on an electric motor rated at 5.5 kW (7.5 HP) energized via 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase drawing 10.5 / 6.05 A.
What fluid temperature tolerances and maximum working pressure capability are rated for this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump?
Sustaining across industrial piping systems, the NSCS40-160-55 sustains a maximum working pressure boundary of 16 bar (PN 16) and operating temperatures from -25°C to +120°C.
How efficiently does this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump lift water upward across vertical installations?
Lifting through distribution piping lines, the NSCS40 160 55 reaches a maximum dynamic elevation head of approximately 34.7 m across vertical runs.
For reliable fluid distribution, what peak volumetric flow and connection diameter are rated on this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump?
Outputting through designated connection lines, the NSCS40_160_55 delivers a peak volumetric flow of approximately 930 L/Min via connected DN 65 suction and DN 40 discharge flanged ports.
Regarding material construction, what alloy metallurgy and mechanical seal faces protect this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump against corrosion?
Machined for demanding fluid environments, the NSCS40-160/55 employs alloy construction of cast iron casing with stainless steel closed impellers with mechanical face seals to guard against chemical attack and corrosion.
