Standard Warranty

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faulty materials
  • Workmanship issues under normal use

Manufacturer Warranty

Some products may include an extended manufacturer warranty beyond the standard 12 months.

Where applicable:

  • Manufacturer warranty terms will apply
  • Warranty periods and coverage may vary by brand and product
  • Claims may be handled directly with the manufacturer or through Foundation Pumps

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation or setup
  • Electrical faults caused by improper wiring
  • Dry running or lack of water supply
  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Wear and tear or consumable parts
  • Damage caused by external factors (e.g. power surges, weather, debris)
  • Modifications or unauthorised repairs

Installation Responsibility

  • All products must be installed correctly and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Failure to follow proper installation procedures may void the warranty.
  • We strongly recommend installation by a qualified professional where applicable.

Warranty Claims Process

To submit a warranty claim, please contact our team with:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos and/or videos of the fault
  • Installation details (if required)

Our team will assess the claim and advise the next steps.

Warranty Resolution

If a claim is approved, Foundation Pumps will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Provide a replacement part

Costs Not Covered

Unless required under Australian Consumer Law:

  • Labour costs are not covered
  • Removal and reinstallation costs are not covered
  • Freight costs associated with warranty claims may not be covered

Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
