Product Overview
Functioning as a central component within complex water treatment plants, the Lowara NSCS40-250/185 provides unmatched liquid handling reliability. The exceptionally rigid framework is tailored to sustain continuous environmental processing under severe systemic resistance.
Delivering heavy commercial throughput, this unit achieves an elevated maximum head of approximately 85.2 m and controls a maximum flow of approximately 930 L/Min. Electrical power is supplied via an 18.5 kW / 415v three-phase motor, paired heavily with 65 mm suction and 40 mm discharge ports.
Advanced fluid dynamics are tightly regulated by a precision-machined internal passageway that aggressively restricts hydraulic loss. The carefully formulated closed impeller directly mitigates flow recirculation, creating a highly stable output characteristic during non-stop treatment cycles.
Mechanically secured with a heavy-duty stub shaft mounting arrangement, the framework relies on a rugged Cast Iron structural body partnered with a Fabricated Stainless Steel (AISI 316) impeller. Fully shielded by IP55 motor sealing, it confidently accommodates thermal liquids up to +120 °C.

To safeguard against chemical attack, what alloy metallurgy and mechanical seal faces are used in this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump?
Assembled for harsh corrosive applications, the NSCS40-250/185 provides alloy metallurgy of cast iron casing with stainless steel closed impellers paired with mechanical seals to protect against corrosion.
In industrial power circuits, what electrical supply voltage and motor power rating energize this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump?
Electrified from facility electrical circuits, the NSCS40-250-185 incorporates an electric motor rated at 18.5 kW (25.0 HP) connecting to 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase with current feed of 33.0 / 19.0 A.
In commercial fluid systems, what maximum working pressure capability and thermal range apply to this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump?
Maintaining across facility pressure circuits, the NSCS40 250 185 certifies a maximum working pressure rating of 16 bar (PN 16) with allowable fluid temperatures from -25°C to +120°C.
Across distribution circuits, what peak dynamic elevation head is reached by this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump?
Pushing through plant water circuits, the NSCS40_250_185 provides a peak dynamic lift head of approximately 85.2 m pushing water upward.
How many liters per minute does this flanged end-suction centrifugal pump discharge through its connected plumbing ports?
Circulating through system pipework runs, the NSCS40-250/185 supplies a maximum fluid delivery volume of approximately 930 L/Min through DN 65 suction and DN 40 discharge flanged ports.
