Product Overview

As a standalone component within the Z6 Series, the Lowara ZN646/25 represents a borehole wet end built for deep well supply. It is essential to pair this standalone pump end with a compatible 37 kW electric motor for deep-well water supply. The physical structure is designed for standard vertical placement inside standard 6-inch casings. It is suitable for pressure boosting and dewatering networks and water distribution setups.

To support long-term physical stability during operation, the structural sleeve and discharge head are engineered from cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel. The multi-stage centrifugal hydraulic assembly consists of 25 stages, each incorporating an AISI 316L stainless steel radial impeller. The integrated radial impellers are designed to limit abrasive wear from sand particles, supporting water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand.

Once paired with its designated 37 kW electric motor (nominal current rating of 81.8 Amps), the coupled assembly achieves up to 255.1 m maximum head. This multi-stage hydraulic wet end generates a maximum flow of 1,000 L/Min through its Rp 80 mm threaded connection. All performance parameters are in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.

The pump has a maximum external diameter of 142 mm for installation inside standard 6-inch borehole wells. Maximum pump immersion depth is 300 m when used with C4S motors and 350 m when used with L6W motors. The lower support bracket incorporates a standard 6" NEMA-compliant mount for simple mechanical motor integration. Safe coupling requires correct mechanical alignment of the pump shaft and the motor shaft during mechanical coupling.

Can this deep borehole pump achieve sufficient elevation head across high vertical drops?

When extracting groundwater from deep wells, the ZN646/25 generates a maximum dynamic head rating of approximately 255.1 m to elevate fluid through long pipe columns.

Which pipe size threads onto the discharge connection and what is the maximum water output?

Standard Rp 3" (80 mm) pipe fittings thread directly onto the delivery port, where the ZN646-25 discharges up to approximately 1000 L/Min in standard 6-inch borehole installations.

Does this deep well pump have adequate corrosion protection for mineral-heavy water?

Corrosion defense in mineralized borehole supplies is delivered by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling in the ZN 646 25, tolerating sand concentrations up to 100 g/m³.

Which electrical power rating and supply voltage are necessary for this borehole motor?

Supplying electricity to drive the ZN_646_25 involves coupling a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor rated at 37 kW across 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase with 81.8 A draw.

Does this borehole unit have an integrated check valve and support horizontal mounting?

Fluid column stability during stops is preserved by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the ZN646/25, while horizontal operation is supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.
