Davey DAT140 14kW Aluminium Alloy WiFi Heat Pump for Residential Pool Heating with TurboFan Design

Residential swimming pools, spas, swim spas, and plunge pools can maintain controlled water temperatures throughout changing seasons using the Davey DAT140 AquaThermPRO heat pump. The compact side discharge airflow arrangement supports installations where equipment space is limited, while integrated Wi-Fi functionality allows convenient operating adjustment and monitoring through the Davey Heat Pump app.

Under Air 27°C and Water 27°C conditions, the unit delivers approximately 14kW heating capacity in Turbo mode and 10.9kW heating capacity in Perfect mode. Cooling operation provides approximately 5.6kW capacity during Air 35°C and Water 28°C conditions. The inverter-driven system operates from a 230V single phase supply with rated input power ranging approximately from 0.29kW to 2.16kW and rated current between 1.26A and 9.39A depending on operating demand.

Automatic inverter modulation using a DC twin-rotary compressor and DC inverter fan helps balance heating output with real-time pool requirements for improved efficiency and quieter operation. The twisted titanium heat exchanger promotes effective thermal transfer efficiency, while selectable Turbo, Perfect, and Silence operating modes allow flexible performance adjustment according to seasonal heating or cooling requirements.

An anti-corrosion aluminium alloy casing assists long-term outdoor durability, supported by reverse cycle automatic defrost functionality for colder operating conditions down to approximately -15°C ambient temperature. TurboFan with InverPad® technology contributes to reduced operational sound levels, while the side discharge airflow configuration improves airflow management in compact equipment installations. The system also utilises R32 refrigerant to support efficient thermal performance.
