Product Overview

Engineered for low-energy variable circulation, the Grundfos MAGNA1 25-40 operates across heating mixing loops, air conditioning circuits, and ground-source heat pump systems. It features an integrated operating panel and frequency converter that automatically matches pump speed to varying thermal loads.

A cast iron EN-GJL-200 pump housing with a 180 mm port-to-port dimension encloses a composite impeller and maintenance-free canned rotor. The pump body is rated for 10 bar maximum system pressure and accommodates fluid temperatures from -10°C to 110°C, with an overall weight of 4.41 kg.

Driven by a permanent magnet motor with a maximum power input (P1) of 9 W to 56 W, electrical power input (P1) modulates between 9 W and 56 W with a maximum current draw of 0.45 A on a 1 x 230-240 V supply. The hydraulic assembly produces up to 4.24 m³/h \(71 L/Min\) against a maximum head of 2.875 m through 1 1/2 inch threaded connections.

Nine selectable control settings include proportional pressure curves, constant pressure curves, and fixed constant curve speeds. The unit achieves an Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) of 0.20, incorporates Class F insulation with an IPX4D enclosure, and provides a digital start/stop input with fault relay output.

What casing metallurgy and material construction protect this compact heating circulator?

Domestic radiator circuit reliability on the MAGNA1 25-40 is governed by a heavy-duty Cast Iron housing with composite impeller with smooth hydraulic flow paths.

What motor power kilowatt rating and electrical supply voltage energize this compact pump?

Connecting to domestic single-phase supplies, the Grundfos MAGNA1 25-40 utilizes an efficient motor rated at 0.035 kW (35 W) on 240 V drawing a rated current of 0.45 Amps.

What maximum working pressure bar rating and liquid temperature span apply to this compact pump?

Sealed residential circuit guidelines allow the MAGNA1-25-40 to operate safely at system pressures up to 10 bar with liquids from -10°C to 110°C.

What maximum dynamic head elevation can this compact cast iron circulator overcome?

Overcoming system friction in residential hydronic heating, the Grundfos MAGNA1 25 40 produces a maximum dynamic head of approximately 4 m.

What maximum delivery flow volume and threaded pipe connection dimensions define this unit?

Discharging through domestic heating plumbing via 180 mm port-to-port G 1 1/2 inch threaded connections, the MAGNA1_25_40 achieves a maximum circulating flow rate of approximately 62 L/Min.
