Developing 8.707 m of head, the Grundfos MAGNA1 40-150 F circulator pump targets tall multi-storey heating risers, central plant distribution headers, and high-pressure-drop heat exchangers. Its onboard variable frequency drive delivers exact pressure control as circuit valves throttle.
Manufactured from EN-GJL-200 cast iron, the 250 mm port-to-port casing holds a precision composite impeller and air-cooled electronic power module. The assembly is rated for 10 bar working pressure and circulating temperatures from -10°C to 110°C, weighing 16 kg.
The 1-phase 230-240 V 50/60 Hz ECM motor has a maximum power input (P1) of 16 W to 615 W while electrical input power (P1) draws between 16 W and 615 W with a maximum current of 2.71 A. Hydraulic performance achieves a calculated flow rate of 15.74 m³/h (262 L/Min) against a maximum head of 8.707 m through DN 40 DIN flanged ports.
A single push-button interface configures nine operating modes including proportional pressure, constant pressure, and fixed speed curves. The motor features Class F insulation, an IPX4D splash-proof housing, an EEI of 0.18, and fault alarm relay terminals.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
