Product Overview
Sized with a 40 mm nominal bore, the Grundfos MAGNA1 40-40 F circulator pump provides electronically controlled variable flow for commercial fan coil headers, radiant cooling circuits, and secondary heating loops. Its integrated frequency converter automatically adjusts speed based on circuit demand.
An EN-GJL-200 cast iron pump housing with a 220 mm port-to-port dimension encases a composite impeller and maintenance-free canned rotor. Built for 10 bar working pressure, it handles circulating temperatures from -10°C to 110°C, with an overall net weight of 9.57 kg.
Driven by a permanent magnet ECM motor with a maximum power input (P1) of 12 W to 90 W, electrical power input (P1) modulates between 12 W and 90 W with a maximum current draw of 0.72 A on a 1 x 230-240 V supply. Hydraulic performance produces up to 7.35 m³/h (122 L/Min) against a maximum head of 2.529 m through DN 40 DIN flanged ports.
Control options encompass three proportional pressure curves, three constant pressure curves, and three fixed speeds. The unit achieves an EEI rating of 0.20, incorporates Class F insulation with an IPX4D enclosure, and provides digital run/stop and fault relay contacts.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
