Product Overview

Driven by an integrated 5.5 kW drive motor, the TPE3 65-430 single-stage inline centrifugal pump provides continuous liquid circulation across commercial HVAC networks, chilled water loops, and facility hydronic circuits. Its in-line structural layout incorporates matching DN 65 inlet and outlet flanges to streamline plant room pipework installation.

At full duty speed, hydraulic throughput reaches 953 L/Min with a maximum head threshold of 29.2 m. Casing construction uses robust electrocoated cast iron (EN-GJL-250) to resist internal surface oxidation. Fluid transfer is driven by a Composite impeller paired with an industry-standard BQQE shaft seal. Physical net weight is 69.8 kg.

Power requirements specify a 3 x 380-500 V Three-phase electrical supply rated for 5.5 kW output, with full-load running current measuring 10.5 Amps. Operating liquid temperatures span from -25°C to 120°C across active HVAC circuits. Standardized DN 65 suction and DN 65 discharge flanged ports facilitate direct line insertion.

The drive motor is housed within an IP55 rated enclosure featuring Class F winding insulation to protect against thermal stress. Built-in frequency control with an integrated PI controller enables automatic variable speed adjustment according to active hydronic load. Maintenance operations utilize a service-friendly top-pull-out design, allowing complete rotor disassembly while the cast iron housing remains fixed in the pipe run.

Features

  • Top-pull-out structural layout enables complete drive head and impeller extraction without disconnecting the pump casing from system piping.
  • High-efficiency motor design delivers optimized hydraulic throughput with minimal electrical power consumption across variable duty cycles.
  • EN-GJL-250 cast iron volute housing provides robust pressure containment up to 16 bar in demanding hydronic circulation loops.
  • Corrosion-resistant Composite impeller rotor is precision-balanced to minimize operational vibration and extend bearing lifecycle.
  • Standardized DN 65 flanged connections comply with EN 1092-2 for seamless drop-in integration into commercial pipe headers.
  • Maintenance-free BQQE mechanical shaft seal prevents fluid leakage and maintains seal integrity under elevated working pressures.
  • IP55 motor enclosure protection guards internal electrical components against ambient dust accumulation and water splash ingress.

Within plant distribution pipework, which operating fluid temperatures and pressures are certified?

Hydraulic parameters allow fluid temperatures between -25°C to 120°C to be conveyed by Grundfos TPE3 65-430 up to a line pressure limit of 16 bar.

Under integrated frequency conversion, how high can this close coupled pump elevate fluid?

Across multi-elevation distribution circuits, TPE3 65-430 provides a maximum dynamic elevation of approximately 29.2 m.

With automated motor speed adjustment, how many liters per minute can this flanged booster circulate?

Operating with automated curve tracking, TPE3-65-430 provides a maximum volumetric throughput of approximately 953 L/Min.

What metallurgy specifications govern the pressure volute and fluid-directing runner?

To prevent erosion during variable speed flow, TPE3 65 430 utilizes an electrocoated cast iron volute and an engineered composite impeller (PES-GF30).

Under maximum rotational speed, what motor wattage, electrical feed, and amps are drawn on site?

Running current for TPE3/65/430 is rated at 10.5 Amps across a three-phase 415 V line to power its 5.5 kW variable frequency motor.
