Product Overview

Effluent management in civil drainage networks depends on robust submersible assets capable of processing contaminated liquids at high flow rates. The Grundfos SE1.75.100.170.2.52S.N.51D.A.T Submersible Wastewater Pump provides a professional solution for permanent submerged installations in collection pits and drainage stations. This unit operates within a temperature range of 10 to 40°C, ensuring reliable performance in municipal networks and industrial transfer duties. The cast iron construction is intended for high-velocity sewage handling in intensive service cycles.

Hydraulic capacity is provided by a 17 kW two-pole motor on a 415v three-phase supply, generating a maximum head of 37 m and a maximum flow of 3186 L/min. Operating with a rated current of 32 Amps at 2969 rpm, the pump maintains consistent throughput for high-load evacuation. A star-delta starting method is utilized to optimize electrical consumption and manage start-up loads in deep-pit applications. Electrical connection is established via a 15-metre power cable to facilitate deployment in municipal lift stations and treatment plants.

Internal fluid pathways utilize an S-TUBE impeller configuration to facilitate the passage of solids up to 75 mm without internal clogging. This hydraulic design ensures high efficiency and reliable wastewater transfer, preventing the blockages that compromise performance in sewage pumping stations. The S-TUBE impeller is engineered for durability, reducing the risk of downtime during continuous duty in aggressive municipal collection networks. This configuration is essential for wastewater handling where consistent volumetric throughput is required for infrastructure protection.

Mechanical construction features a heavy-duty cast iron body and motor shell with an IP68 protection rating for depths up to 20 m. Longevity is anchored by a double mechanical shaft seal with silicon carbide faces in an oil bath to protect the motor from ingress. This model includes integrated thermistors and moisture sensors for the Class H insulated motor assembly, enabling proactive fault detection. Standard DN 100 inlet and outlet connections facilitate standardized integration into municipal wastewater and drainage pipework.

Features

  • S-TUBE impeller design enables the passage of solids through the pump casing without compromising hydraulic efficiency.
  • Heavy-duty cast iron housing and motor shell provide the structural durability required for deep submerged installations.
  • Double mechanical shaft seal utilizing silicon carbide faces ensures the 17 kW motor remains shielded from ingress.
  • Internal moisture sensors and thermistors provide monitoring to protect the Class H insulated motor assembly.
  • Two-pole motor configuration operating at 2969 rpm provides the high-velocity discharge needed for sewage transfer.
  • Standardized DN 100 inlet and outlet connections allow for seamless integration into standardized plumbing.
  • IP68 enclosure rating confirms the system is suitable for continuous duty in aggressive submerged environments.
