Product Overview

Fluid velocity paths and hydraulic behavior for the SEV.80.80.11.4.50B utilize a SuperVortex configuration to manage contaminated grey water and process waste. This design addresses the circulation requirements in industrial collection pits and municipal drainage systems by allowing solids to pass freely. The assembly is optimized for intermittent wastewater transfer in environments prone to varying fluid ingress or stormwater runoff. Its architectural build ensures reliable performance in both submerged and dry-pit configurations for long-term subsurface operation.

Hydraulic performance is driven by a 1.1 kW four-pole motor operating on a 415v three-phase supply with a rated current of 2.7 Amps. This assembly generates a maximum flow of 966 L/Min and reaches a maximum head of 6.9 m to satisfy specific site requirements in drainage stations. The motor operates at 1440 rpm, providing torque for processing fluids in effluent transfer systems. Power is distributed through a 15-metre Lyniflex cable to support sub-surface wastewater handling and gravity drainage networks with temperatures up to 40°C.

Internal hydraulic behavior utilizes a SuperVortex centrifugal impeller designed for the passage of solids up to 80 mm in diameter. This configuration facilitates the movement of particles in suspension, preventing internal clogging that could compromise volumetric efficiency over thousands of service cycles. By utilizing a vortex flow path, the unit minimizes internal friction and vibration to protect the rotating assembly. The impeller is intended for sewage pumping and grey water handling where consistent flow behavior is necessary for infrastructure maintenance.

Mechanical integrity is reinforced by a cast iron pump body and motor shell with an IP68 enclosure rating for protection against liquid ingress. The motor is shielded by a double mechanical shaft seal featuring a SiC/SiC primary seal and CER/CARNBR secondary seal in an oil bath for insulation. This model includes an integrated thermal sensor for motor monitoring and protection in submerged conditions. The architectural casting includes a DN 80 inlet and a DN 80 outlet for integration into standard wastewater infrastructure and treatment plant transfer.

Features

  • SuperVortex impeller design handles solids up to 80 mm without risk of internal blockages during wastewater disposal.
  • Cast iron housing and motor shell provide a stable foundation for dry or submerged pit installations up to 20 m.
  • Four-pole motor operating at 1440 rpm provides torque for processing dense organic wastewater and grey water.
  • Double mechanical shaft seal in an oil bath with silicon carbide faces ensures protection for the 1.1 kW motor.
  • DN 80 inlet and DN 80 outlet connections are sized for wastewater transfer through standard plumbing networks.
  • IP68 enclosure rating ensures the motor remains protected during permanent immersion in contaminated liquids.
  • Lyniflex 15-metre power cable provides a secure electrical connection for wastewater handling service.
