Industrial wastewater transfer facilities utilise the Grundfos SL1.100.100.55.4.50B.C for processing sumps and civil wet wells. Holding CE EN12050-1 approval, this model is built for permanent submerged installation and is intended for handling untreated wastewater containing large solids in centralized collection systems.
Operating on a 3 x 415V supply with a rated current of 10.9 Amps, the 5.5 kW 4-pole motor runs at 1463 rpm. It reaches a maximum head up to 16.6 m and maximum flow up to 4284 L/min. This model is rated for continuous S1 submerged service in liquids between 0°C and 40°C. The motor is cooled by the surrounding pumped liquid during normal submerged operation.
Solids handling is facilitated by an S-tube impeller providing a 100 mm free passage for untreated wastewater while helping reduce the risk of clogging. The hydraulic design features a DN 150 inlet and a 4" (100 mm) outlet with DIN flange connections. This supports the discharge of contaminated media in industrial processing sumps.
Construction features an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing and motor casing. Protection includes a double SIC/SIC mechanical seal and integrated PTC thermal sensors for motor protection. Integrated moisture sensors are included for seal and motor monitoring, along with 10 metres of LYNIFLEX power cable and an IP68 enclosure rating. The pump is suitable for installation depths up to 7 metres.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.

- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
