Davey Microlene KAS10A 10" Twin Rainwater Filter Kit 20/1 Micron with Spanner

Rainwater solution filter packs for residential applications are provided by the Davey Microlene KAS10A twin 10 inch kit. This pack is for small homes or point-of-use utility loops where coarse and fine sediment removal is required from harvested water. It is an integrated rack-mounted system that includes matched cartridges. The assembly is compatible with UV systems for those requiring a complete microbiological solution in their setup.

Constructed from reinforced polypropylene, the housing assembly is durable and includes a mounting bracket with all fixings. The filtration process occurs in two stages, utilizing a 20 micron poly pleated cartridge for coarse sediment, dirt, and leaf matter. The second stage uses a 1 micron poly spun cartridge for the reduction of fine particles and parasitic cysts. This kit is specified for water temperatures from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.

The system operates at a maximum pressure of 880 kPa and is rated for a recommended flow rate up to 35 L/min. It utilizes 20mm 3/4 inch BSP female connections to integrate with standard residential plumbing lines. As a passive filtration assembly, it provides physical barriers against contaminants without an electrical power source. Its large internal volume accommodates cartridges for whole-of-house filtration applications.

Operational safety is provided by built-in pressure relief valves and seals designed to provide a seal to prevent untreated water bypass. The kit includes a housing spanner to facilitate manual cartridge changes every 6 to 12 months for the spun filter. The pleated filter should be cleaned every 3 to 6 months. It carries the WaterMark certification and complies with WMTS-103 standards for verified performance.
