Puretec PL011 Pleated Sediment 1 Micron 2.5" x 10" Water Filter Cartridge

Operating as a high-surface-area physical barrier, the Puretec PL011 pleated cartridge is designed to intercept fine suspended solids. This filter cartridge operates in municipal, rainwater, or bore water systems requiring particulate filtration. It is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and connects to cold water lines.

Regarding materials of construction, the filter features high-strength synthetic non-woven polyester fabric folded into a pleated structure. This pleated fabric is backed by a solid central polypropylene core that provides structural stiffness. The cartridge ends are embedded in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, fusing the components into a single unit.

The cartridge measures 2.5 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length and provides nominal filtration down to 1 micron. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active filter media to trap incoming particles. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases the physical capture efficiency of the multi-fold pleated fabric.

The filter cartridge performs at a maximum flow limit of 41 L/Min, providing filtration with low flow restriction. It operates in liquid temperatures ranging from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Built with washable synthetic media, the cartridge features a reusable design, enabling cleaning between service runs to reduce costs.
