Puretec PL012 Pleated Sediment 1 Micron 2.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

The 20-inch Puretec PL012 cartridge operates on high-flow water supplies to capture fine physical debris. This large cartridge provides double the contact area of standard 10-inch models, extending the filtration run. It is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and is designed for commercial and domestic mains setups.

This model utilizes a high-capacity non-woven polyester fabric medium folded into a pleated layout for fine particle capture. The pleated media is braced by a solid central polypropylene core that provides internal stiffness. The pleated ends are immersed in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC to seal the cartridge and block water bypass.

This 20-inch cartridge measures 2.5 inches by 20 inches and offers a nominal filtration rating of 1 micron. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active pleated media to catch incoming particulates. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases physical capture efficiency.

The filter cartridge performs at a maximum flow limit of 82 L/Min, providing filtration with low flow restriction. It operates in liquid temperatures ranging from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Thanks to the washable non-woven fibers, the cartridge incorporates a reusable design, allowing routine washing to extend service runs.
