Puretec PL051 Pleated Sediment 5 Micron 2.5" x 10" Water Filter Cartridge

Engineered for sediment clarification, the Puretec PL051 cartridge isolates fine suspended solids from flowing water streams. It provides physical pre-filtration in domestic and light commercial systems, removing physical debris. The unit is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and operates on typical supply loops.

This model utilizes a high-capacity non-woven polyester fabric medium folded to form multiple filtration pleats. This pleated medium surrounds an internal polypropylene core that offers physical stiffness under incoming water flow. The pleated ends are immersed in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, which seals the unit to stop bypass.

Measuring 2.5 inches by 10 inches, the cartridge features a nominal filtration rating of 5 microns. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active pleated media to catch incoming particulates. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases physical capture efficiency.

The unit operates at a maximum flow rate of 43 L/Min, keeping clean pressure drop low during service. It is rated for liquid temperatures from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Featuring washable polyester fabric, this model utilizes a reusable configuration, allowing physical cleaning between filtration runs.
