Puretec PL201-2 Pleated Sediment 20 Micron 10" Twinpack Water Filter Cartridge

Sold as a convenient twin-pack, the Puretec PL201-2 pleated sediment filter offers a dual-cartridge replacement for multi-stage systems. This twin pack delivers two high-capacity sediment filters for parallel or consecutive filtration. It is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and operates in paired filter arrays.

The physical build of each cartridge utilizes washable non-woven polyester fabric pleated for high physical filtration surface. This pleated fabric is braced by a solid central polypropylene core that provides internal stiffness. The ends of the pleats are sealed in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, forming a unitized cap.

Each individual cartridge in this twinpack measures 2.5 inches by 10 inches and is rated at a nominal 20 microns. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active filter media to trap incoming particles. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases the physical capture efficiency of the multi-fold pleated fabric.

Each cartridge in this twinpack operates with a peak flow rate of 45 L/Min, providing high flow capacity. The temperature rating is specified from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). The washable non-woven polyester fibers allow a reusable design, enabling routine washing between service runs to minimize costs.
