Puretec PL20MP2 Pleated Sediment MaxiPlus 20 Micron 4.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

Designed for high-flow industrial and domestic installations, the Puretec PL20MP2 pleated cartridge captures medium suspended solids. This large 20-inch MaxiPlus model is suited for whole-house rainwater systems, irrigation manifolds, and process water lines. It is suitable for MaxiPlus filter housings and operates in high-flow setups.

Regarding construction, the cartridge incorporates a non-woven polyester fabric medium folded into multiple wide filtration pleats. This pleated media surrounds a solid polypropylene core that provides internal stiffness in 20-inch housings. The ends are sealed by embedding them in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC to block water bypass.

The physical dimensions of the cartridge are 4.5 inches by 20 inches, with a nominal filtration rating of 20 microns. It incorporates more than 16 square feet (1.48 square meters) of active pleated media to catch incoming particulates. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases physical capture efficiency.

The filter cartridge performs at a maximum flow limit of 188 L/Min, providing filtration with low flow restriction. It operates in liquid temperatures ranging from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Featuring washable polyester fabric, this model utilizes a reusable configuration, allowing physical cleaning between filtration runs.
