Constructed from a polymer pressure shell, the cartridge measures 9 inches in physical length. The cartridge houses a dual-action carbon block with scale inhibitor designed to process mains drinking water. The complete unit weighs 0.45 kg and operates in liquid temperatures up to 55°C under standard cold water plumbing conditions.
The compatible filter operates at a pressure range of 68 to 520 kPa. It is specified for a nominal micron rating of 5 micron to capture suspended rust, clay, and sand. It is rated for an active capacity of 10,000 Litres of chlorine and scale reduction.
The cartridge features a quick-change twist port that seals against standard Zip heads. It carries AS/NZS 3497 certification under licence number WM 74617.
