Structural material choice is the defining characteristic of the HYBRID-E6-LF featuring a 304 grade stainless steel Radfire steriliser for residential rainwater treatment. Part of the Puretec Hybrid E6 series this system provides a path for sediment removal and ultraviolet disinfection in smaller residences. It is suitable for wall mounted installation on external surfaces or inside pump sheds using its reversible bracket. The assembly offers a path for clarifies and purifies water.

The housing assembly is manufactured from polymers and includes a stainless steel UV chamber that surrounds internal components. It utilizes 10 inch MaxiPlus cartridges specifically the PL05MP1 pleated sediment filter and the DP10MP1 dual purpose carbon unit. The system weighs 18 kg and operates in liquids up to 52 degrees Celsius. Its construction includes a secure locking mechanism for the UV lamp and housing bowls that accommodate high flow filtration within a compact footprint.

This model achieves a maximum flow rate of 75 L/Min and is rated for operational pressures between 300 and 875 kPa. Plumbing integration is achieved via 1 inch BSP male fittings measuring 25 mm. The unit operates with a 46 W RL7 UV lamp on a 240 V electrical supply regulated by an electronic controller. Its filtration process achieves a nominal 5 micron rating ensuring that silt and sand are removed to protect the ultraviolet disinfection stage from shadowing effects.

Low carbon and energy efficiency is supported by an electronic controller that provides real time lamp monitoring and failure notifications. The system follows AS 3497 certifications for water treatment and features a quartz sleeve RQS6 to isolate the lamp from direct liquid contact. It enables chemical free purification by killing 99.9 percent of bacteria and cysts like Giardia. Routine maintenance is supported by the HR-EI6 kit which includes all cartridges and the UV lamp.
