This submersible pump is designated as 150 DML 55.5 from the Model DML pump range. It is designed for submersible sewage and drainage applications containing large soft solids and fibrous materials. Constructed from Cast Iron FC200 casing, cast iron FC200 upper bracket, cast iron FC200 single channel impeller, and bronze wear ring, with SUS403 stainless steel shaft. The motor assembly is enclosed within the pump housing. The single channel impeller, measuring 150 mm, is designed for liquids containing solids up to 76 mm in diameter. The net weight of this pumping unit is 157 kg. It operates in liquids up to 40°C.
The motor operates on a three-phase 415v electrical supply with a power rating of 5.5 kW. The nominal current rating is 12.7 Amps. The pump delivers a maximum head of 16 metres and a maximum flow rate of 3520 L/Min through a discharge outlet diameter of 150 mm.
Electrical protection conforms to Class F insulation standards with an IP68 enclosure rating. The unit operates at installation depths up to 8 metres below the liquid surface. A double mechanical seal in an oil chamber is used for shaft sealing. The unit is designed for star-delta starting and incorporates miniature thermal protectors in motor windings.
