    The 80 DF 51.5 pumping unit is part of the Model DF submersible range. Intended applications include sewage and wastewater installations containing soft solids and fibrous matter. This unit is suitable for guide discharge connector systems and standard freestanding installations. It is suitable for guide rail auto-coupling and standard freestanding installations.

    Materials of construction include a Cast Iron casing, cast iron upper bracket, and cast iron semi-open impeller, with SUS403 stainless steel shaft. The pump incorporates a semi-open type impeller with a nominal size of 80 mm. The pump is suitable for liquids containing soft solids and fibrous materials. The net weight of this pumping unit is 55 kg. The pump is rated for a maximum liquid temperature of 40°C.

    A motor rated at 1.5 kW operates this unit using a three-phase 415v power connection. The motor draws a nominal current of 3.9 Amps. Performance testing shows a maximum head limit of 9.3 metres and a peak flow capacity of 930 L/Min at the 80 mm discharge flange.

    The motor stator features Class F insulation windings housed inside an IP68 rated enclosure. Maximum submergence is specified up to 8 metres deep. Shaft containment is provided by a dual silicon carbide mechanical seal system in an oil reservoir. The pump incorporates a chrysalis shaped suction port and semi-open impeller cutting action.
