The air-filled dry submersible 4-pole motor is designed for direct-on-line (DOL) starting and operates at a synchronous speed of 1500 rpm.
The enclosed single-channel impeller arrangement is designed for non-clog operation when handling fluids containing suspended solids. This hydraulic system permits the passage of foreign matter up to 76 mm in diameter. Fluid is moved through an 80 mm vertical delivery port connected to the included discharge elbow with companion flange.
Materials of construction feature a cast iron pump casing, motor frame, and impeller paired with an AISI 403 stainless steel shaft. Sealing is managed by a double mechanical seal in an intermediate oil chamber utilizing Silicon Carbide lower faces and Carbon/Ceramic upper faces. Fasteners are 304 stainless steel, and the motor incorporates an automatic thermal protector.
