Onga 20DGD2501 Dual-Gradient Spun Polypropylene Sediment 1 Micron 4.5" x 20" Replacement Cartridge

Elongated-gradient polypropylene spun fibers define this sediment cartridge, suitable for high-flow residential uses. It is designed for installation inside 20-inch Big Blue filter housings, including the Stage 1 pre-filtration stage of the Pentair UV7501 water system. It provides pre-filtration for bore, surface, and mains water.

Double-gradient density construction integrates an outer pre-filtration zone with a fine inner-filtration zone, achieving three times the dirt holding capacity. Sized for large residential sumps, the physical dimensions are 4.50 inches in outer diameter by 20 inches in length (114 mm by 508 mm). The pure polypropylene media provides chemical resistance.

Flows through the increased filter depth operate at higher velocities with low pressure drop. Testing indicates an initial pressure drop of less than 1 psi at a test flow rate of 76 Lpm. The cartridge is rated at a nominal 1-micron filtration capability, and it is suitable for cold water lines at temperatures up to 62.8 degrees Celsius.
