Onga 5PP10BB Pleated Polyester Sediment 5 Micron 4.5" x 10" Replacement Cartridge

Fabricated for sediment filtration applications, this pleated polyester cartridge is suitable for water housings. It is designed for installation inside 10-inch Big Blue filter housings, including the Stage 1 pre-filtration stage of UV5505.

Structured with a pleated design to maximize surface area, the cartridge is manufactured from washable polyester media and vinyl plastisol end caps. The physical dimensions measure a nominal 10 by 4.5 inches.

Initial pressure drop is rated at less than 1 psi at a test flow rate of 38 Lpm, representing laboratory performance. The cartridge is rated at a nominal 5-micron filtration capability, capturing sand, rust, silt, scale, clay, and other suspended sediment from the water stream.

Compatible with standard high-flow residential housings, the element is cataloged under the official orderable part number 5PP10BB. The synthetic non-cellulose construction resists bacterial attack, making it suitable for municipal and non-chlorinated water lines. Servicing requires replacement every 6 to 12 months.
