Onga BHML003 Genuine 48W High-Output UV Replacement Lamp

UVC irradiation lamp technology is utilized in this replacement element, suitable for point-of-entry water systems. It is designed for installation inside the quartz sleeve of Pentair UV55 and UV75 disinfection chambers, providing germicidal pathogen neutralization. It destroys waterborne bacteria without adding chemical sanitizers.

Emitting germicidal ultraviolet light, the linear replacement lamp is manufactured from clear glass with electrical terminal pins. The physical layout features a 4-pin single-ended plug at the top end to facilitate connection to the electronic ballast holder. The lamp has a total electrical power rating of 48W, and the operating lamp current is specified from 0.75 to 0.85A.

Socketed within the watertight quartz tube, the UVC emitter is certified to achieve a 99.9999% disinfection reduction rate against E-coli under normal operating parameters. The nominal lamp life is rated at 9,000 hours, equivalent to 375 days of continuous operation. The controller ballast will activate an alarm buzzer when the lamp reaches 365 days of run time.

Annual replacement of the UV lamp is required to maintain the certified disinfection kill rate of waterborne microbes. Handling precautions require the use of disposable gloves during installation, as touching the quartz glass with bare hands will leave oils that compromise UVC transmission. Always disconnect the electrical supply before replacing the lamp.
