Onga BHML006 Silicon Quartz Sleeve Sealing Replacement O-Ring

Silicone rubber construction defines this replacement sealing ring, suitable for whole-house water systems. It is designed for installation on the quartz sleeve assembly of Pentair UV55 and UV75 disinfection chambers, providing a watertight seal between the glass sleeve and the metal gland of the stainless steel vessel.

Watertight integrity is maintained by this small circular gasket, which is sized precisely to sit inside the gland groove. It is manufactured from a high-temperature silicone elastomer that resists degradation from continuous water contact and UVC radiation exposure. It has no electrical connection or moving parts and is specified as passive.

Lubricated with silicone grease during installation, the O-ring compresses slightly under hand-tightened lamp holder pressure to form a leak-free watertight seal. This seal isolates the dry internal chamber of the quartz sleeve from the pressurized water flow inside the vessel. It is compatible with system operating pressures of 210 to 500 kPa.

Replacing this O-ring is recommended annually during lamp replacement or quartz sleeve cleaning to stop leakages and property damage. Lubrication must be performed exclusively with 100% silicone lubricant, and the use of petroleum-based jellies or oils is strictly prohibited. Thread sealing tape may be used on adjacent fittings.
