Onga NCP10BB Non-Cellulose Pleated Carbon 10 Micron 4.5" x 10" Replacement Cartridge

Pleated for dual-purpose sediment filtration and chlorine taste reduction, this cartridge is suitable for point-of-entry residential housings. It is designed for installation inside 10-inch Big Blue filter housings, including the Stage 1 pre-filtration stage of the Pentair UV5510 water system.

Vinyl plastisol end caps attach the pleated carbon-impregnated media around a supportive polypropylene core. The physical dimensions are specified as a nominal 10 by 4.5 inches. The synthetic polyester media is chemically compatible with municipal water.

Flowing water encounters an initial pressure drop of 2 psi at a test flow rate of 30 Lpm, representing standard laboratory testing parameters. The cartridge is rated at a nominal 10-micron filtration capability, reducing fine sediment, dirt, rust particles, and organic odors from the supply.

Polishing closed-loop water supplies, the cartridge is cataloged under the manufacturer model number NCP-BB or orderable part number NCP10BB. The non-cellulose composition resists media decay under prolonged immersion, extending the service life of the element. Standard replacement is recommended every 6 to 12 months.
