Onga NCP20BB Non-Cellulose Pleated Carbon 10 Micron 4.5" x 20" Replacement Cartridge

Non-cellulose carbon-impregnated polyester media makes this elongated cartridge suitable for dual-purpose sediment filtration and chlorine taste reduction. It is designed for installation inside 20-inch Big Blue filter housings, including the Stage 1 pre-filtration stage of the Pentair UV7510 whole-house water treatment system.

Polypropylene-core reinforcement carries the pleated polyester media and carbon impregnation, secured by standard vinyl plastisol end caps. Sized for whole-house housings, the physical dimensions are a nominal 20-inch length by 4.50-inch outer diameter (114 mm by 508 mm). The non-cellulose fibers are resistant to decay.

Pleating on the non-cellulose media maximizes available surface area, allowing the cartridge to operate with minimal pressure drop. Sourced technical sheets specify an initial pressure drop of 1 psi at a test flow rate of 38 Lpm. The cartridge is rated at a nominal 10-micron filtration capability, and it operates at water temperatures up to 51.7 degrees Celsius.
