Product Overview

With high-efficiency hydraulics, the Lowara 6GS40 is an e-GS series borehole pump end, meeting strict ErP regulations. Full service requires coupling this wet end with a compatible 4.0 kW (5.33 HP) electric motor. The mechanical framework allows vertical well configurations or horizontal cisterns.

Constructed for long-term submersion, the pump end features a stainless steel outer sleeve. The internal floating stack contains 38 stages utilizing PC/PPO + PS polymer components. This hydraulic design handles water with suspended sand up to 150 grams per cubic meter.

When matched with a compatible 4.0 kW motor operating on 9.8 Amps current (415 V three-phase line), the coupled assembly yields a maximum head of 207.2 m. The pump end achieves a maximum flow of 140 L/Min discharging through its Rp 1-1/4" (32 mm) outlet. Output is verified by factory curves.

Liquid temperature during operation must not exceed 35°C. This pump end is specified for submersion depths up to 150 meters with 4OS motor lines, and up to 300 meters with L4C motor lines. Horizontal use is possible for 4OS motors up to 2.2 kW and L4C motors up to 7.5 kW. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.

FEATURES

  • Equipped with 38 multi-stage floating impellers designed to minimize abrasive wear from sand particulates.
  • The external sleeve is fabricated from durable stainless steel to prevent rust and prolong operating life.
  • Includes a built-in stainless steel non-return valve in the discharge head to prevent damaging backflow.
  • The hexagonal shaft distributes mechanical torque evenly, eliminating vulnerable keyed connections.
  • Features precision-cast stainless steel upper and lower brackets to maintain alignment with the motor.
  • Complies fully with the Minimum Efficiency Index threshold of 0.40 under European ErP directives.
  • Designed to safely handle water temperatures up to 35°C in continuous underwater applications.

What size discharge line joins this pump head and what is the top flow capacity?

Connecting delivery risers to the 32 mm (Rp 1-1/4") discharge outlet enables the 6GS40 to provide a peak flow capacity of approximately 140 L/Min inside standard 4-inch (100 mm) or larger borehole casings.

What metallurgy protects this deep well pump from corrosive subterranean elements?

Corrosion resistance in demanding groundwater wells is sustained by stainless-steel with floating impellers in the 6GS-40, which withstands sand up to 150 g/m³.

Which power supply voltage and kilowatt rating are required to operate this bore pump?

Driving the 6 GS 40 pump hydraulics requires a 4.0 kW motor on 220–240 V, 50 Hz, single-phase (with 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase motor compatibility).

Does this submersible unit feature an integrated check valve and support inclined layouts?

Piping surge defense is supported by an integrated stainless-steel non-return valve in the 6_GS_40 head, and horizontal orientation is permitted at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest and a cooling shroud.

Can this submersible bore pump achieve reliable vertical elevation from deep wells?

Deep well extraction reliability is ensured by the 6GS40, which generates a maximum dynamic head of approximately 207.2 m across the delivery curve.
