Product Overview
Corporate office towers and metropolitan high-rise complexes specify the Davey DynaDrive variable speed twin booster package for balanced multi-tier mains pressure. Configured with dual parallel multistage pumps, the package balances incoming mains supplies across expanding facilities. This packaged assembly supplies an integrated water boosting solution to prevent pressure dropouts across multi-fixture networks.
Operating across its calibrated hydraulic envelope, the set achieves flow rates up to 240 L/min. Across elevated vertical distribution lines, the multistage hydraulic wet end generates up to 55.1 metres of maximum shut-off head to overcome static elevation losses. Internal impellers and intermediate stage diffusers are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel to maintain fluid purity and hydraulic efficiency. A hard-faced mechanical seal and reinforced casing construction support operating system pressures up to 10 bar (1,000 kPa).
Mechanical drive is delivered through a high-efficiency induction motor engineered for continuous plant room operation. Speed regulation is governed by integrated Davey DynaDrive variable frequency converters mounted directly to each motor, continuously matching motor speed to instantaneous draw to stabilize pipeline pressure. The electrical package connects to a 240V supply at 50 Hz drawing a rated current of 2 x 7.2 Amps. Pre-plumbed hydraulic connections feature standardized 2" BSP ports, rated for clean liquid operating temperatures from 0°C to 40°C.
The physical assembly features a rigid, vibration-absorbing structural steel baseplate frame. Integrated elastomeric mounts isolate pump vibrations, protecting connected distribution pipework from mechanical stress and acoustic transmission. Engineered and assembled to meet demanding Australasian commercial plumbing standards, the system benefits from comprehensive Davey technical support and readily available nationwide spare parts.

Which electrical power mains and variable frequency drive regulate this booster set?
Motor speed regulation on the Davey DynaDrive DD90-11 Single Phase 1.05kW Variable Speed Twin Pump Booster Set with 8L Tank utilizes Single Phase 240V power at 50 Hz to drive twin 1.05 kW motors (2 x 7.2 Amps), coordinated by dual communicating variable speed inverters.
Under what maximum static head elevation does this booster package operate?
Developing up to 55.1 metres of maximum static head, the 2MLD90-11-8 sustains casing pressures up to PN10 (10 bar) across fluid temperatures up to 70 deg C.
How are the suction and delivery manifolds, baseplate, and wetted parts configured?
Wetted construction on the 2MLD-90-11-8 combines 304 stainless steel wet ends with 2" BSP (50 mm) manifolds, twin 8L pressure vessels, and a rigid baseplate frame.
How is factory warranty coverage structured between the pump end and inverter drive?
Warranty protection supporting the 2MLD 90 11 8 encompasses official Davey coverage including 2 years on both the pump wet end and the variable speed drive unit against manufacturing defects.
What volumetric fluid throughput rate does this booster assembly supply?
To accommodate heavy site draw, the DD90-11 (2MLD90-11-8) provides up to 240 L/min (14.4 m3/h) across twin pumps under automated variable speed coordination.
