Product Overview

Sustaining high-throughput wash water delivery for food processing is simplified with the Davey Monsoon single pump variable speed booster system. Equipped with a vertical multistage pump assembly, the unit sustains line pressure stability across demanding plumbing lines. This packaged assembly supplies an integrated booster solution to prevent pressure dropouts across elevated risers.

Providing steady pressure boosting across shared reticulation, flow extends up to 483 L/min. Across elevated vertical distribution lines, the multistage hydraulic wet end generates up to 56.4 metres of maximum shut-off head to overcome static elevation losses. Internal impellers and intermediate stage diffusers are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel to maintain fluid purity and hydraulic efficiency. A hard-faced mechanical seal and reinforced casing construction support operating system pressures up to 16 bar.

The pumping unit is driven by an electric motor featuring high-grade copper stator windings. Speed regulation is governed by an integrated variable frequency drive controller, continuously matching motor speed to instantaneous draw to stabilize pipeline pressure. The electrical package connects to a 240V supply at 50 Hz drawing a rated current of 32.2 Amps. Pre-plumbed hydraulic connections feature standardized 2" BSP ports, rated for clean liquid operating temperatures from 0°C to 40°C.

For unvarying mechanical stability, the system rests on a heavy-gauge structural base. Integrated elastomeric mounts isolate pump vibrations, protecting connected distribution pipework from mechanical stress and acoustic transmission. Engineered and assembled to meet demanding Australasian commercial plumbing standards, the system benefits from comprehensive Davey technical support and readily available nationwide spare parts.
