Product Overview
For expanding commercial sites whose original mains feed no longer keep pace, a factory-assembled Hydro MPC-E 2 CRIE 20-4 package provides a well-matched solution, with two CRIE 20-4 pumps staged against the demand curve. Part number 93637624 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.
It handles flows up to 1167 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 83.7 metres of head when pressure demand increases. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.
The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 18L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 415 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 28 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.
Its home ground covers industry, commercial buildings and high-rise developments. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.
Features
- An integrated 18L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
- GENIECON PANEL control with touch display gives operating staff full staging visibility.
- The system pairs two CRIE 20-4 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
- Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- At P2 each main pump is 7.5 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
- Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
- Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
- Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
- Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.

Which peak volumetric output does this parallel centrifugal booster set deliver across the facility?
Operating across its factory curve, the Grundfos Hydro MPC-E 2 CRIE 20-4 V1 GA-A-D-AG discharges up to 1167 L/min of clean water to maintain consistent line pressure during peak demand cycles.
Which variable frequency drive motors power the centrifugal stages across this booster system?
Each centrifugal stage of the Hydro MPC-E 2 CRIE 20-4 is driven by a 7.5 kW variable frequency drive MGE electric motor running on 3 x 415 V power, utilizing built-in variable speed drives to adjust output dynamically.
Under peak pressure requirements, what total dynamic head does this multi stage assembly generate?
Elevating water across multi-level pipework, the Hydro-MPC-E-2-CRIE-20-4 maintains up to 83.7 m total dynamic head with an overall 16 bar maximum operating limit.
What plumbing manifold connections and non return check valves are installed on this booster skid?
Plumbed for rapid site installation, the Hydro MPC E 2 CRIE 20 4 includes DN80 stainless steel headers equipped with dedicated isolating valves, check valves, and pressure transmitters.
What manufacturer warranty period covers the pumps and electronic drive package?
Grundfos provides two-year manufacturer warranty coverage on the 2 CRIE 20-4 (Hydro MPC-E), securing the complete multi-pump package, manifolds, and integrated electronics.
