Product Overview

Across installations such as boutique motels and dental suites whose tenants notice every pressure dip, the Hydro MPC-E 2 CRNE 5-4 maintains stable pressure at every draw-off point. Everything is ordered under the single part number 93637785.

It handles flows up to 340 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 39.9 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Control sits with the GENIECON multi-pump controller in its touch-equipped panel, adjusting each pump individually and rotating duty by load, run hours and faults.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 230 V power at 50 Hz with a rated current of 6.7 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 16 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Its home ground covers irrigation schemes, water supply networks and high-rise developments. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
  • Each pump is driven by permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • GENIECON PANEL control with touch display gives operating staff full staging visibility.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Each main pump is rated 1.1 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • The set ships with an 8L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 5-4 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
