Equipped with two Calpeda MXH 2003 horizontal multistage pumps, the BS2F 2MXH 2003 twin booster set delivers a full-load flow of up to 800 L/Min. For vertical risers and pressurised distribution lines, the pump assembly can reach up to 48.5 m of head. Its dual-pump architecture guarantees continuous water supply and adaptable capacity across fluctuating daily demand profiles.
Responsibility for staging the twin pumps rests with differential pressure switches connected to a central microprocessor control board. Rather than running at full capacity during quiet periods, the system engages one pump for normal draw-off and cascades the second unit online when line pressure falls further. Automatic duty alternation switches the lead pump role on each cycle, while integrated anti-cycling timers prevent rapid start-stop wear on the contactors.
Precision-formed from durable stainless steel AISI 304, the suction and delivery manifolds ensure clean fluid transfer and minimal head loss across the skid. Site piping mates directly with the 80 mm inlet header and 65 mm discharge manifold, supported by full-flow isolation ball valves and non-return check valves on both branches. A clear pressure gauge tracks discharge performance, and a pre-fitted connection port simplifies linking an external expansion tank.
Each pump is driven by a high-efficiency 2-pole induction motor operating on a three-phase 415 V supply with three-phase 230/400 V stator windings. Spinning at approximately 2900 rpm on 50 Hz mains power, each motor produces 3 kW (P2) of output while drawing 6.6 A under full load. Built to IEC 60034 international standards with Class F insulation, the drive assembly withstands demanding thermal and mechanical loads.

- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
