Combining two Calpeda MXH 2004 horizontal multistage pumps on a rigid base, the BS2F 2MXH 2004 booster set delivers up to 800 L/Min of flow. The multistage impeller stack can develop up to 64.5 m of head to overcome static building height. This twin-pump station provides continuous pressure stability and mechanical standby security for demanding hydraulic installations.
Pressure sensing across the discharge line relies on differential pressure switches governed by a dedicated microprocessor control board. Under moderate draw-off, the primary pump maintains system pressure alone, while the secondary pump engages automatically whenever high consumption causes pressure to dip further. Built-in alternation swaps the lead assignment after every cycle to equalise wear, and anti-cycling control logic prevents rapid motor hunting.
Constructed with heavy-duty stainless steel AISI 304 suction and delivery headers, the manifold assembly ensures hygienic water transport and long-term corrosion resistance. Main pipework connects via an 80 mm suction inlet and a 65 mm discharge outlet, with full-bore isolation ball valves and non-return check valves fitted to each pump branch. An integrated pressure gauge provides instant visual feedback alongside a pre-configured port for an external diaphragm tank.
Standard Australian three-phase 415 V power feeds two industrial motors wound for three-phase 400/690 V operation. Each 2-pole induction drive runs at approximately 2900 rpm on a 50 Hz electrical grid, delivering 4 kW (P2) of mechanical power and drawing 5.5 A per pump. Engineered to IEC 60034 standards with Class F thermal insulation, these motors handle continuous commercial workloads with ease.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
