Product Overview
Elevated sanitary risers in commercial properties depend on continuous pressure regulation to maintain service stability and prevent fixture starvation. This high-efficiency twin system incorporates 2 Calpeda MXV 65-3203 vertical multistage pumps in parallel to deliver reliable, balanced water circulation. Operating against closed pipework, the multistage wet ends produce a maximum shut-off head of 51 m to overcome static building elevation. When demand reaches operational peaks, the parallel pumping assembly achieves a maximum flow rate of 1467 L/Min across distribution outlets.
Automated pressure regulation is governed by a motor-mounted Calpeda I-MAT variable frequency converter operating the twin pumps in coordinated duty assist staging. Stepless speed modulation continuously matches rotational velocity to instantaneous line demand, maintaining constant pressure while maximizing electrical efficiency. Gradual acceleration ramps eliminate disruptive hydraulic surges, protecting building pipework and inline fittings from mechanical water hammer stresses. Comprehensive digital diagnostics incorporate automated shut-off protection to safeguard the pumping assembly against dry running, phase loss, and overcurrent conditions.
Heavy-duty Cast Iron GJL 250 pump bodies deliver exceptional structural strength, housing corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel impellers, stage chambers, and internal sleeves. Dual vertical pumps couple directly to rigid stainless steel headers with 100 mm suction and 100 mm discharge ports equipped with DN 100 flanged. Individual isolation ball valves and non-return check valves protect each branch, supported by an analog line pressure gauge on an AISI 304 stainless steel mounting base.
Power is provided by dual heavy-duty 2-pole induction motors designed for continuous operation on Australian three-phase 400 V (50 Hz) electrical distribution networks. Running synchronously at 2900 rpm, the electric drives generate 2 x 5.5 kW of mechanical output with a rated operational full-load current draw of 2 x 10.7 Amps. High-grade electrical laminations and Class F thermal insulation deliver long-term mechanical reliability across continuous commercial duty cycles.
