Product Overview
Commercial buildings operating extensive vertical plumbing networks require dependable line boosting to maintain steady fixture flow. This variable-speed twin package integrates 2 Calpeda MXV 65-3204 vertical multistage pumps in parallel to provide dependable line pressure. Under peak concurrent fixture demand, the synchronized twin wet ends provide a maximum delivery capacity of 1467 L/Min across the network. Against closed line valves, the synchronized hydraulic wet ends achieve a maximum static delivery head of 69 m to maintain elevated static lift.
Precise setpoint pressure is sustained across fluctuating facility draw through an integrated motor-mounted Calpeda I-MAT variable frequency converter. An electronic pressure transducer continuously feeds line data to the integrated controller, modulating pump speed to deliver exact flow requirements without pressure spikes. Smooth soft-start and soft-stop ramp profiles protect building distribution pipework from mechanical water hammer and sudden pressure waves. Built-in electronic monitoring systems deliver automatic safety shutdown protection in the event of dry-run conditions, electrical phase imbalance, or motor overload.
Constructed with Cast Iron GJL 250 hydraulic casings and AISI 304 stainless steel wet ends, the pumps deliver outstanding mechanical durability under continuous high-pressure service. Hydraulic flow distributes through common stainless steel manifolds with standardized 100 mm suction and 100 mm delivery fittings with DN 100 flanged. Independent isolation valves and check valves service each pump run, mounted alongside an analog delivery pressure gauge upon an AISI 304 stainless steel baseplate frame.
Synchronous mechanical output is supplied by two 2-pole commercial induction motors matched to Australian three-phase 400 V (50 Hz) power standards. Rotating at a nominal operating speed of 2900 rpm, the twin motor assembly delivers 2 x 7.5 kW of total drive power while drawing a rated full-load current of 2 x 14.3 Amps. High-efficiency motor design maintains balanced electrical consumption and robust mechanical performance across varying commercial pressure demands.
