Utilizing two horizontal multistage MXH 2002 pumps in a parallel twin configuration, this booster set generates up to 800 L/Min of flow. For vertical risers and pressurised distribution lines, the pump assembly can reach up to 31.4 m of head. It handles sudden load transitions in hotels, schools, and manufacturing plants with ease.
Pressure stability is governed by two pipe-mounted Calpeda EasyMat variable frequency converters that communicate to coordinate pump staging. As taps open across the network, the primary inverter increases motor frequency proportionally, bringing the second unit online only when flow exceeds single-pump capacity. This closed-loop modulation saves substantial electrical energy, prevents pipework shock, rotates duty cycles automatically, and shields the pumps from dry running and voltage faults.
The mechanical manifold assembly is fabricated from hygienic AISI 304 stainless steel on both the suction and delivery sides to guarantee clean, rust-free operation. An 80 mm suction manifold supplies both pump inlets evenly, while the 65 mm discharge header collects pressurised water for the building main. Each branch incorporates isolation ball valves and non-return check valves alongside a system pressure gauge and a header connection port for an external pressure tank.
Connecting the unit to site power requires only a single-phase 230 V feed, which the onboard drives invert to supply three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor runs at a synchronous 2900 rpm (50 Hz) speed, rated at 1.8 kW (P2) per pump and drawing 4.8 A under full load. Built to strict IEC 60034 standards with Class F insulation, the motors provide enduring thermal stability.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
