Configured as a variable-speed twin booster assembly, the BSM2V 2MXHL 208-EMT couples two Calpeda MXHL 208 horizontal multistage pumps on a shared skid to overcome tall static elevations. Operating in parallel, the dual pumping units supply up to 160 L/Min of flow across busy commercial fixtures. For demanding vertical risers in Australian building services, the multistage wet ends can develop up to 84.9 m of head.
Each pump head carries an onboard EasyMat frequency converter that continuously tracks downstream line pressure and adjusts motor speed to match live draw-off. When a single tap or zone valve opens, the primary unit ramps smoothly to maintain the target pressure without abrupt hydraulic surges. Should consumption climb further, the companion inverter brings the second pump online in cascade while balancing runtime hours and safeguarding against dry running or overload faults.
Non-corroding AISI 304 stainless steel forms the primary suction and delivery manifolds, ensuring hygienic water transport and long structural life. Incoming supply enters through a 50 mm suction header and discharges via a 40 mm delivery manifold ready for riser connection. Dedicated isolation ball valves and non-return check valves accompany each pump branch for straightforward servicing, while a manifold pressure gauge and an external diaphragm tank port complete the pipework.
Flexible power integration allows this package to run from a standard single-phase 230 V power supply while the onboard converters drive three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor operates at a nominal speed of 2900 rpm on 50 Hz mains, built in full compliance with IEC 60034 specifications and protected by Class F thermal insulation. At full duty, each motor delivers 1.5 kW of shaft power and draws 3.6 A.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
