Combining two Calpeda MXHL 405 horizontal multistage pumps on a unified base frame, the BSM2V 2MXHL 405-EMT delivers responsive, variable-speed water boosting. At maximum twin-pump output, this assembly supplies up to 266.6 L/Min. The multistage impeller stack can develop up to 52 m of head to overcome static building height.
Intelligent speed regulation is provided by pipe-mounted Calpeda EasyMat variable frequency converters motor. Instead of running fixed-speed start-stop cycles, the active drive continuously adjusts motor frequency to hold downstream pipe pressure constant as demand fluctuates. When consumption outstrips a single pump, the partner inverter ramps up the second unit in cascade, alternates lead duty between cycles, and monitors for dry running or electrical overload.
Sanitary AISI 304 stainless steel is used across both the suction and delivery headers to ensure clean water handling and long-term corrosion resistance. Site plumbing connects directly to a 50 mm suction inlet and discharges through a 40 mm outlet manifold. Each pump branch includes dedicated isolation ball valves and non-return check valves for straightforward maintenance isolation, complemented by a manifold pressure gauge and a connection port for an external tank.
Cabinet wiring is simplified by using a single-phase 230 V incoming power feed while the onboard drives power three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor operates up to 2900 rpm (50 Hz) in compliance with IEC 60034 standards and features durable Class F winding insulation. Rated at 1.1 kW (P2) per pump, each motor draws 2.7 A of full-load current for economical daily operation.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
