Product Overview
Mid-rise commercial offices and residential blocks with moderate flow requirements and taller pipe risers are well served by the BSM3V 3MXHL 204-EMT booster station. Featuring three Calpeda MXHL 204 horizontal multistage pumps in a parallel triplex layout, this unit delivers up to 240 L/Min. For demanding vertical distribution, the multistage design can build up to 42.5 m of head. Its three-pump configuration ensures smooth turn-down for single taps while holding reserve capacity for peak periods.
Each pump is governed by its own onboard EasyMat frequency converter, allowing the station to modulate motor speed continuously in response to downstream pressure sensors. When water usage rises, the lead drive accelerates smoothly and brings lag pumps online sequentially to maintain a flat pressure curve. Integrated control logic handles automatic duty rotation, energy optimization, and immediate shutdown if dry-run conditions occur.
Crafted from sanitary AISI 304 stainless steel, the 65 mm suction collector and 50 mm discharge manifold resist internal corrosion and scale accumulation. Full-bore isolation ball valves and non-return check valves are installed on every branch so maintenance personnel can service one pump while keeping the other two operational. A dial pressure gauge and a threaded port for an external pressure vessel complete the header assembly.
Driven from a single-phase 230 V incoming supply, the pump-mounted inverters feed three-phase 230/400 V motor windings for smooth variable-speed torque. Each 2-pole induction motor produces 0.55 kW (P2) at approximately 2900 rpm (50 Hz) while drawing a modest 1.6 A per pump. Manufactured to IEC 60034 standards with Class F winding insulation, the drive units withstand continuous operation effortlessly.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.

- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
