Built for larger swimming pool filtration circuits, the Calpeda NMP 50/12H combines self-priming operation with high-capacity water recirculation performance for commercial and heavy-duty pool systems. The hydraulic arrangement is intended for clean or slightly contaminated water containing suspended solids commonly encountered during continuous filtration duty.
Hydraulic output reaches flow rates up to 750 L/min with maximum head extending to 16.5 m depending on installation conditions. The pump operates through a three-phase 400V induction motor rated at 2.2 kW while maintaining rotational speed close to 2900 rpm for stable recirculation performance.
Circulation efficiency is supported through a chrome-plated brass impeller integrated into the NMP 50/12 hydraulic assembly. The self-priming centrifugal design enables suction lift capability up to 7 m, while the built-in strainer basket with 3 mm perforations assists retention of suspended debris before it reaches the impeller section.
Mechanical durability is provided through cataphoresis-coated cast iron construction across the casing and lantern bracket assembly. A carbon ceramic mechanical seal with FPM elastomer components manages shaft sealing duties, while the motor assembly incorporates class F insulation together with IPX4 enclosure protection. Water temperatures up to 60°C and working pressures up to 6 bar are supported during operating service.
