Product Overview
The DAB VORTEX FEKA VS 1000MA is a heavy-duty stainless steel submersible drainage pump designed for sewage, wastewater and stormwater removal in domestic, commercial and agricultural applications. Constructed entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel with a microcast stainless steel vortex impeller and AISI 316 stainless steel shaft, the pump delivers high durability and corrosion resistance for demanding drainage environments.
Powered by a 1.0 kW single-phase motor, the FEKA VS 1000MA delivers up to approximately 450 litres per minute with a maximum head of about 11.8 metres. The vortex impeller design allows the pump to handle wastewater containing suspended solids up to 50 mm without clogging, making it suitable for sewage pits, septic tanks, stormwater drainage and flood control applications.
Engineered for reliability, the pump includes a double mechanical seal system with an oil chamber that protects the motor during heavy operation. The automatic “MA” version is equipped with a float switch for automatic start and stop depending on water level, allowing unattended operation in drainage pits and sump installations.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
