Product Overview
Providing high-head hydraulic output in a 40 mm bore, the Grundfos MAGNA1 40-120 F circulator pump meets the requirements of district heating transfer loops, secondary chiller headers, and tall building risers. Its integrated inverter continuously adapts motor rpm to changing thermal loads.
An EN-GJL-200 cast iron pump body with a 250 mm port-to-port dimension encloses a composite impeller and maintenance-free canned rotor. Built for 10 bar operational pressure, it handles circulating temperatures between -10°C to 110°C, with a total net weight of 16 kg.
The single-phase 230-240 V ECM motor has a maximum power input (P1) of 15 W to 463 W with electrical input power (P1) operating from 15 W up to a peak of 463 W at 2.05 A maximum current. Peak hydraulic output reaches a flow rate of 14.35 m³/h (239 L/Min) and a maximum head of 12 m across DN 40 DIN flanged connections.
Nine control modes provide proportional pressure, constant pressure, and fixed speed operation with single-button adjustment. The unit delivers an EEI rating of 0.19, features Class F insulation with an IPX4D enclosure, and incorporates digital run and fault relay terminals.

How many meters of dynamic lift does this pump provide?
Fluid elevation through vertical risers reaches up to 12 m with the Grundfos MAGNA1 40-120 F under standard duty points.
How much fluid throughput does this pump move under full load?
Discharge throughput on the MAGNA1 40-120 F reaches a maximum flow rate of approximately 239 L/Min under standard operating conditions.
What size discharge flange or connection is fitted to this pump?
Discharge pipework interfaces directly with the MAGNA1-40-120-F through a standard standard connection for quick field installation.
What electrical voltage and motor kilowatt output drive this unit?
Electrical power for the MAGNA1 40 120 F requires a 240v connection, driving an efficient 0.35 kW motor that draws 2.05 Amps.
What water temperature range and installation depth are supported?
Liquid operating limits establish that the MAGNA1/40/120/F accommodates temperatures -10°C to 110°C during standard duties.
