Product Overview

Regional medical centres and surgical clinics eliminate line pressure fluctuations by installing the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 64-1-1. Two Grundfos CRNE 64-1-1 multistage pumps work in unison on the base frame, modulating rotational speed to follow the facility draw curve. Part number 93368437 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

Under peak site conditions, the assembly provides up to 3400 L/min of flow. Multistage vertical hydraulics produce up to 32 metres of maximum head. Integrated Multi-Master intelligence coordinates the pumps without requiring an external control panel, ensuring automatic role swapping and uninterrupted pressure stabilization.

Skid-mounted and pre-configured for installation, the system pairs stainless steel manifolds, two 150 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with combined rated current of 27.2 A (2 x 13.6 A per pump). Motors carry IP54 sealing with maximum pressure of 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C, and inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Ideally suited to commercial facilities such as mixed-use commercial buildings, corporate office towers and shopping centres, the booster operates with high efficiency. Variable-speed motor modulation makes the set a practical clean-water pressure-boosting solution for both new plant rooms and system upgrades.

FEATURES

  • Rated 5.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 150 mm manifold connections ready for plant pipework.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 64-1-1 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a smartphone.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
