Product Overview
Heritage building restoration projects upgrading outdated plumbing mains select the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRNE 3-10. The three-pump parallel layout shares duty evenly across the CRNE 3-10 wet ends, preserving steady pressure during morning spikes. Ordering part number 99752162 puts the fully tested booster skid directly onto the plant room floor.
Peak header discharge reaches up to 270 L/min for multi-storey duty. Up to 96 metres of delivery head is available to keep upper-floor fixtures pressurised. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.
Factory plumbed on a structural mounting skid, the package combines stainless steel pipework, two Rp 2 inch threaded manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 1 x 200-240 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with combined rated current of 19.4 A (3 x 6.47 A per pump). Motors carry IP55 sealing with maximum pressure of 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C, and inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
The booster provides steady volumetric delivery across hospital surgical wings, aged-care complexes and industrial process supply, supporting high daily volumes. Variable-speed motor modulation makes the set a practical clean-water pressure-boosting solution for both new plant rooms and system upgrades.
FEATURES
- An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
- Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP55.
- Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a smartphone.
- Rated 1.1 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
- Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two Rp 2 inch threaded manifold connections ready for plant pipework.
- Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
- Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
- Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
- Three Grundfos CRNE 3-10 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
