Product Overview

For residential towers and medium commercial sites outgrowing their mains pressure, a factory-assembled Hydro MPC-E 3 CRNE 15-5 package provides a well-matched solution, with three CRNE 15-5 pumps staged against the demand curve. One factory-tested package replaces a shelf of loose components; order part number 93637871 to put it on site.

The system supports flow rates up to 1406 L/min. It can develop up to 99 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 100 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 400 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 41.7 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Applications include commercial buildings, water supply networks and industry. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • At P2 each main pump is 7.5 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 100 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • The set ships with an 8L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Rated for 16 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Three Grundfos CRNE 15-5 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
  • GENIECON PANEL control with touch display gives operating staff full staging visibility.
