Product Overview

Gymnasiums, aquatic centres and student housing running wall-to-wall showers get a constant-pressure answer in this Grundfos Hydro MPC-E 3 CRNE 20-1 set. Part number 93637881 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

This set provides up to 1740 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 20 metres of head where required. Control sits with the GENIECON multi-pump controller in its touch-equipped panel, adjusting each pump individually and rotating duty by load, run hours and faults.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 100 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 400 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 12.9 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Its home ground covers irrigation schemes, high-rise developments and commercial buildings. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • Each pump is driven by permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • Three Grundfos CRNE 20-1 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • GENIECON PANEL control with touch display gives operating staff full staging visibility.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 100 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Each main pump is rated 2.2 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
