Product Overview
For school blocks and council facilities fed by long, pressure-hungry reticulation, a factory-assembled Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE 15-1 package provides a well-matched solution, with two CRE 15-1 pumps staged against the demand curve. One factory-tested package replaces a shelf of loose components; order part number 99614443 to put it on site.
Flow capacity reaches 935 L/min. Up to 19 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.
Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 80 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 6.2 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Applications include hotel plant rooms, high-rise apartments and mixed-use commercial buildings. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.
Features
- Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
- Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
- Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
- Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
- Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
- The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
- Two Grundfos CRE 15-1 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
- Rated 1.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
